ABOUT
Shop Maine Craft bolsters Maine’s creative economy by creating income opportunities for craft artists. Proceeds from Shop Maine Craft galleries, ecommerce, craft shows, markets and events directly support the educational programming of Maine Crafts Association and its members.

MAINE CRAFTS ASSOCIATION AND SHOP MAINE CRAFT WORK IN PARTNERSHIP TO SUPPORT AND EXPAND MAINE’S CREATIVE ECONOMY.
Maine Crafts Association was founded in 1983 to support and connect Maine’s craft artists. Our 501(c)3 non-profit organization provides educational programs, public events, mentorship, artist promotions and an inclusive community to connect emerging, mid-career and established craftspeople.
Shop Maine Craft provides Maine Crafts Association members with opportunities to expand their economic resources through retail sales, fine craft shows and special events.

The Maine Crafts Association supports Maine craft artists with networking, community building, educational and outreach programming:
• Craft Apprentice Program
• Craft Content Project
• Educational Workshops
• Exhibitions
• Maine Craft Weekend
• Maine Craft Artist Awards
• STITCH: Maine Designers on the Runway + other fundraisers
• Weekend Workshop @ Haystack
• & other craft artist support + education + promotion
Maine Crafts Association believes strongly in the services offered to our members. In addition to benefitting from sales venues through Shop Maine Craft galleries + events, MCA also offers educational, marketing, networking, and support services to craft artists. We strongly urge all MCA members to take advantage of these important benefits.
