Polymer Clay Marquetry Demonstrations

Come enjoy the newest work of Bonnie Bishoff and J. M. Syron in a collection of polymer clay wall sculptures inspired from the wilds of their Maine garden, fields and dreams beyond. Wildflowers & weeds are pervasive, persistent, resilient and intricately adaptable survivors. Be present to see the beauty in the common, as oversized flora and intricate fauna fill the wall. This collection will also be paired with jewelry and adornment.

Bonnie Bishoff and J. M. Syron work collaboratively and in innovative ways with detailed polymer veneers, wood and metal structures in their wall sculptures and one of a kind jewelry. A collaborative design and build team, they have been working together for 33 years developing a mixed media esthetic in furniture, lighting, sculptural objects and jewelry.

Maine Craft Weekend!

Artist Demo at 12 Noon on both Saturday and Sunday during Maine Craft Weekend!
Bonnie Bishoff will be demonstrating her innovative techniques with polymer clay for creating the large patterned veneers that she and J.M. Syron apply in their wall sculptures and jewelry.  Like watching a crazy puzzle being assembled, it is mesmerizing to see the many small pieces of patterned clay melding together to compose an orchestrated surface with loads of complexity.
