On View in Maine Craft Portland’s Gallery: Vases of Maine Exhibition
Maine Craft Portland highlights the art of the vase this month, in collaboration with the artistry of Harmon’s Floral Company. The selected vases were handcrafted by over a dozen MCA artist-members in a variety of media including: hand-forged copper, large vessels of blown glass, ceramics, and even fiber! As a part of this exquisite display, Harmon’s top floral designers have created three custom arrangements available for purchase in select vases as gorgeous, one-of-a-kind Valentine’s Day offerings.
As a part of our newly forged relationship, Harmon’s has requested to work with MCP to incorporate pieces from our sales floor into the merchandising displays in their elegant retail windows. This month’s window display features work from MCA members Ember Grove, Adrian King, Addie Peet, and Don Carmichael. We’d like to thank Harmon’s for partnering with us to bring even more downtown exposure to Maine-based fine craft!
