EAST END VEND: Overview
East End Vend is a small, community oriented and festive outdoor market in Portland, Maine for the public to purchase craft, art, vegetables, specialty foods and other Maine made goods directly from Maine artists, farmers and foodies. East End Vend markets are typically four hours long, held on multiple dates and in different locations around Portland, Maine.
East End Vend was developed in summer 2020 in response to the pandemic. Most craft shows were canceled, yet, as folks began to adapt to social distancing it became possible to offer these smaller, lower cost, less formal markets outdoors. East End Vend provides emerging and established artists an easy way to set up and sell to customers in a festive and fun market setting. Fees are low and there are no registration deadlines (as long as there is space available).
