Oh the retro vibes! This 17.5″ tall bottle was hand built by artist Soozie Large with a warm red earthenware clay. The yellow body of the bottle is accented with stripes of peach and orange at the base, and matching bottle topper. Fine black lines and vertical button-like accents give the surface a playful, antiqued effect. A glossy clear glaze coats the interior.
Measurements: 17.5″ tall x 4.5″ base x 3″ rim

I am a clay artist working primarily with hand built terra cotta forms. Most of my pieces are finished by applying the ancient technique of terra sigilata, which is hand burnished to a lovely, colorful sheen. My forms vary from functional to sculptural, colorful and usually playful.
