These toilet paper holders are hand-forged in Maine using traditional blacksmithing tools and techniques. They are made of steel and coated with a linseed oil and wax solution. The measurements are approximately 6″ (150 mm) tall, 7″ (175 mm) wide, and 3 ½” (87 mm) deep.

Growing up, Nicholas Wicks Moreau was an artist and a carpenter who loved working with his hands. Nicks great-great grandfather worked on the Statue of Liberty and his great-grandfather was a pioneer in the field of welding. While completing his Master’s degree in Scotland, Nick met a master blacksmith who agreed to take him on as his apprentice. Upon returning to he United States, Nick founded the Wicks Forge in 2013 to carry on the family tradition.
