Strong Arm Bindery is a bookbinding and letterpress studio located in the East Bayside Neighborhood of Portland, Maine. We specialize in the design and production of very well-made books and printed matter. We are dedicated to carrying out experiments in stationery, and we do so on our own equipment. Our work is mighty and useful.
Martha is owner and operator of Strong Arm Bindery. In her private practice she specializes in the conservation repair of rare, antiquarian, and well-loved books, and the construction of custom-built boxes and protective enclosures for artists’ work and collections.
