PLEASE NOTE: Only current MCA Guild Level Members and League of New Hampshire Craftsmen members may register for shows. If you are not a qualified member and you register you will be refunded LESS $25 admin fee.

Guild Fine Craft Shows: League of New Hampshire Craftsmen Registration Information

The Guild Fine Craft Shows are a series of events showcasing high-quality handmade objects in a variety of materials, methods, and creative design. The shows feature the work of juried members of the Maine Crafts Association and offer a wide range of fine craft items, including baskets, ceramics, fiber, furniture, glass, jewelry, leather, metal, mixed media, paper, stone and wood. The Guild Fine Craft Shows carry a 40 year legacy of celebrating and promoting fine craftsmanship and are well-regarded for their focus on quality, originality, and artistic expression. The shows will also include a selection of juried craft artists from the League of New Hampshire Craftsmen.

Attention League of New Hampshire Craftsmen:

• Only artists making in the media represented by the Shows may exhibit (For example, Guild Fine Craft Shows do not include photography, personal care products, other 2D fine art media)
• We encourage you to apply if you produce original fine craft 3D objects in one or more of the following categories: basketry, ceramics, encaustic, furniture, glass, letterpress, jewelry, leather, metal, printmaking, stone, textiles (decorative + wearable) and woodworking.
  
• League members who are not MCA Guild Level members may be offered booths in the show 60 days after spaces have been offered to MCA Guild Level members.
• There is not a jury to exhibit, however there are some restrictions and your request to exhibit will need to be approved – please be prepared to supply additional images or links, besides what is found on your League profile page.
  *After filling out the registration form, you will be asked for a photo of your booth display (via email from lizz@shopmainecraft.com) to coincide with the approval process.
• 25% Media: In an effort to curate a beautiful (and fair) fine craft show, booth space is also determined by the percentage of media currently registered, which could limit certain registrations. We will inform you asap if this quota has already been met.
• League members may submit their request to exhibit through a form on the MCA site set up for this purpose and be notified by show staff as early as possible. (Link to the left).

Guild Fine Craft Show: Brunswick

Dates + Times:
Saturday, October 24: 10-4pm
Sunday, October 25: 10-4pm

Set up: Friday, October 23: 12-6pm
Load Out: Sunday, October 25: 4-7pm

Location: This show will take place at Fort Andross 14 Maine Street, Brunswick Maine. It will accommodate approximately 40 exhibitors indoors.

Booth Options & Details: There are four types of indoor booths: 10×10 and 8×10, both available as inline or a corner. All booths have access to power.

Guild Fine Craft Show: Mount Desert Island

Dates + Times:
Friday, August 7: 5 – 8pm
Saturday, August 8: 10am – 4pm
Sunday, August 9: 10am – 4pm

Set up: Friday, August 7: 12 – 5pm
Load Out: Sunday, August 9: 4 – 7pm

Location: This show will take place at College of the Atlantic campus, 105 Eden Street, Bar Harbor, ME 04609.. It will accommodate 40-50 exhibitors.

Booth Options & Details: There are three main types of booths: Indoor (Gates Theater), Outdoor Covered (Gates Theater porch and Overhang) and Outdoor Uncovered (Red Brick Prime and Walkway): Indoor booths are 8×8’s and 8×4’s. Outdoor Covered booths include the Gates Theater porch (5×15, 10×10, 6×8), as well as the Overhang that holds ten 10×10 booths, with both corner and inline options available. All Outdoor Uncovered booth spaces are 10×10 and located on the Red Brick area. The ‘Prime’ Outdoor Uncovered spots are all 10×10 corners, central to the show venue. All Indoor + Outdoor Covered spaces have access to power. Outdoor Uncovered booth spaces do not access to have power.

GUILD FINE CRAFT SHOWS REFUND/CANCELLATION POLICY
90 days or more prior to first day of public event: Full refund less $25

31-89 days prior to first day of public event: 50% refund

30 or less days prior to first day of public event: No refunds.
