East End Vend is an outdoor, socially distanced market Friday evenings and Sunday mornings in Portland’s East End neighborhood. Weather and COVID permitting, the market will take place twice weekly until October.
Picture (mask wearing) residents and visitors shopping the market for handmade items for themselves or their home, dinner ingredients or brunch additions (think bagels or maple syrup!), fresh flowers and other good stuff from Maine.
East End Vend is produced by the Maine Crafts Association, Hayrunner & Caleb Johnson Studio
LOCATION:
Find us at the corner of Washington Ave and Congress Street in Portland’s lively East End Neighborhood – next to the Snug and Otto’s Pizza (also grab a slice of pizza!)
A SAFE PLACE TO SHOP+ CONNECT
Like you, we want to be out in our community, but we want it to be safe. By working together, we assure our market spaces are safe. Please be patient and maintain a kind regard for one another.
Vendors will be spaced to provide room between one and other and for visitors to shop and stay apart from one another.
The market has a “one-way” route clearly marked with an entrance and exit.
Shoppers and vendors will wear masks and hand sanitizer will be king.
