Greetings! For over three decades, my boating, sailing, and kayaking adventures on the Maine coast have inspired me to create a wide range of artwork in a variety of media including shells, driftwood, sea glass, oil paint, and beach stones (available at www.maineislandtreasures.com). During my beachcombing years I’ve collected hundreds of naturally formed heart-shaped rocks ranging in size from a third of an inch to one foot and still find them almost daily on my beach walks in southern Maine with my westie, Winston.
Love Rocks ME officially began as my tribute to the great state of Maine in 2010 when I created an outline of the state with love rocks and photographed it for print. The success of this heART work inspired more designs in the ever-expanding line of greeting cards & art prints. I’m extremely honored to have been awarded Maine & New England’s Home Based Business of the Year by the SBA in 2016.
