L. E. Barrett grew up in the small Maine river city of Hallowell. He received a Bachelor’s Degree from Northeastern University in Boston, MA and a Master’s Degree from the University of Maine in Orono, ME. He has published two poetry collections; ‘The Maine Poetic’ and ‘Verses From Beneath Granite Ledges’, a play ‘The Shadow of the Soul’, a short story collection ‘A View From The Side Of The Road’ and the definitive fiddlehead book ‘Fiddlemania’. Mr. Barrett is currently working on the book ‘The Boys From Joppa’ the first book in his trilogy ‘The Kennebec River Trilogy’, a fictional work about Hallowell, Maine in the early 1960s.

Lin Diket was born and raised in Hallowell, Maine. He attended college in Portland, Maine and does photography as a relaxing way to spend his retirement, after 36 years in state government. He previously published a praiseworthy collection of natural photos in the book ‘Fiddlemania’.
