It showcases a grouping of various sea items along one edge, including a sand dollar, a few pebbles, and some leaves. The rest of the surface is cream colored and features a unique crackled texture.

Lonie Ellis
Topsham, Maine

Lonie Ellis is an artist who enjoys working in multiple mediums including ceramic, encaustic painting and fiber arts. Her creative hours are spent working out of her home studio in Topsham. Lonie’s work has received awards and recognition from juried art events across the state of Maine. Her work can be found in galleries and local businesses, as well as several outdoor art festivals, in group and solo shows. Lonie attributes most of her knowledge to curiosity, exploration and self learning and has found nature to be the greatest teacher.
