Mini Enamel Dangle Earrings | Teal Long Oval | Erin Seegers


These modern earrings by Erin Seegers are sure to add a pop of color to any outfit. The teal color is a layer of glass enamel applied over a hand-cut copper oval and fired to a gloss using kiln and torch techniques. The ear wires are hand-bent using oxidized (blackened) sterling silver wire.

Erin Seegers
Brunswick, Maine

Erin Seegers is an artist and jewelry maker native to rural western Maine, currently residing in Brunswick. She graduated from the Cleveland Institute of Art in 1997 where she studied Painting, Photography and Enameling. Erin spent 18 years as a freelance metalsmith working with jewelry designers countrywide. She is currently happily back to exploring her own creative vision in many media.
Her line of simple, colorful and wearable enameled jewelry represents a return to simplicity, in vision and craft, and to one of her first loves from long ago, enamel on copper. Her studio explorations also include collage, encaustic and life drawing.
