Medium Covered Pot | Barbara Walch

$42.00

This signature lidded pot by Barbara Walch of Thorndike, Maine is handmade using the pinch technique. Pinched and formed to light, smooth precision, her pots are made with a warm brown stoneware and finished in a gas kiln. This process creates soft flashing and shading on the raw clay exterior of this soft undulating form. The interior glaze is a pop of bright glossy blue, perfect for containing your jewelry, candies, or other small treasures! Match up the leaf stamp on the rim of the lid and base for a perfect fit. Two little birds rest atop the lid for a cute little handle!

This item is located at the Center for Maine Craft in West Gardiner.
