Kittery Point, Maine
Founded in 2019, Bric-a-Brac Maine features a small guild of women crafters who weave trivets, potholders, placemats and small rugs that are designed with the highest standards of quality. These items were first designed for friends and family, but due to the overwhelming positive responses, the guild started attending farmer’s markets and festivals in and around southern Maine. Now, Bric-a-Brac Maine sells their products across the country!
“Our designs are a blend of our collective talents and perspectives, and they are as practical as they are beautiful. We love what we do, and it shows in our work. The Merrimack-Webster.com Dictionary defines bric-a-brac as a miscellaneous collection of small articles commonly of ornamental or sentimental value. When people first see our work they often smile and talk about the joy that weaving brought to them as children, and also their memories of their own children weaving. We hope that our products bring a smile to your face as you reflect on simpler times and the joys of home and family.”
