Hand Forged BBQ Fork | Wicks Forge

Add some flair to the fire with these hand forged Barbecue forks – the perfect grilling tool to add to your collection.  These BBQ tools are handcrafted using traditional blacksmithing tools and techniques.  This fork has a traditional curled handle with a loop at the top, making it easy to hang on a hook when not in use.

Each fork is approximately 11″ (280 mm) long with the tines approximately 1″ (25 mm) apart. They are coated with a linseed oil and wax finish and can be cleaned and seasoned the same way a cast iron pan is treated.

This piece is currently at Maine Craft Portland.

Growing up, Nicholas Wicks Moreau was an artist and a carpenter who loved working with his hands.  Nicks great-great grandfather worked on the Statue of Liberty and his great-grandfather was a pioneer in the field of welding.  While completing his Master’s degree in Scotland, Nick met a master blacksmith who agreed to take him on as his apprentice.  Upon returning to he United States, Nick founded the Wicks Forge in 2013 to carry on the family tradition.
