Inspired by her grandparents, a master tailor and dressmaker, Elizabeth Ruskin learned the world of needlepoint at a young age. Her background in hand quilting and stitching informs her whimsical carvings which echo stitches and seams. Elizabeth makes this intricate, hand-built pottery with every inch decorated and considered, including the undersides of plates and the insides of vessels.
