Linda Perrin of Atlantic Art Glass

Through a humble approach to a dynamic material, Linda Perrin has maintained a professional career as a glass blower since 1990. Perrin is a true example of the Studio Art Glass movement. She and her husband built their own studio on Mount Desert Island after studying with master glass artists from coast to coast. As her glasswork became more refined and sought after, they created another larger studio in Ellsworth, Maine. Here Perrin could work on larger projects and invite the public to experience the process involved in shaping hot glass. Perrin credits public access glass facilities like Urban Glass in Brooklyn, New York and Haystack School of Craft, in Deer Isle, Maine for inspirational associations with important glass artists such as Richard Marquis, Cheryl Ellinwood, Dante Marioni, Dinah Hulet and Deborah Czeresko
