A.W.D. Textile Designs is a textile brand founded by artist Anysa Williamson Denby based in Portland Maine. Denby earned a BFA in Fashion and Textile Design with a minor in Art and Entrepreneurship from the Maine College of Art and Design in 2025. The brand began during college and became a full-time practice in her senior year. Each bag and accessory is hand-designed screen printed and sewn blending technical skill with creative experimentation. The process begins with original drawings that are translated into layered prints exploring new color combinations and pattern interactions each week. These textiles are then transformed into functional bags and accessories crafted from canvas cotton and linen with careful attention to structure durability and usability. The work celebrates color pattern and playful design creating functional objects that bring art joy and intention into everyday life.
